Security Officer Appreciation Week

You see them all around town, at the mall, the bank, the hospital, etc. The unsung heroes of safety and security, your local security officers. The U.S. Department of Labor statistics claims that there are over 1.1 million private security guards in the U.S alone. Whether they’re on patrol, on guard or providing assistance they are always there to give you peace of mind when it comes to you or your assets safety.

This week is National Security Officer Appreciation Week! What a great time for us to recognize all the hard work security officers do. Sometimes the hours are long, and the conditions are less than ideal but rain, snow or shine they’ll be there to protect your assets. Day and night security officers can be found keeping our communities safe and secure, so while you’re out and about this week, if you see an officer diligently on duty, stop and say THANK YOU!
